Purpose: This is a bid advertisement & pre-bid conference notification from Webcor Builders (“General Contractor”) to solicit proposals from qualified Subcontractors (“Subcontractor”) to perform trade work on the LAWA Departures Curbside Refresh project.

Project Summary: The purpose of this project is to renovate several Terminals of LAX Departure level such as: ADA Curb Ramps, Security, Bollards Relocation/Replacement, and new sliding auto doors.

Recently LAWA has completed a series of major terminal redevelopment projects, with some areas lacking attention. LAWA would like to upgrade the Departures Level curbside area to improve the passenger experience prior to the 2028 Olympics. The Terminal Refresh Program was launched to address the goals and concerns noted above. Part of the overall Terminal Refresh Program is the Departures Curbside Refresh Project, which aims to bring cohesion to the Departures Central Terminal Area, infilling areas of concern and providing greater continuity.

The scope for the Departures Curbside Refresh Program includes:

• Refresh of existing Canopies at Terminals 2, 6, 7 and 8 for new Storefront Auto Doors.

• ADA curb ramp reconstruction with addition of passenger loading zones and sidewalk infill at the departures curbside to address a compliance issue

• Infill and reconstruction/relocation of Security Bollards around the departures level curbside
