Join Swinerton and San Diego Unified School District to discuss the upcoming bids for Lindbergh/Schweitzer Elementary School. Learn how to prequalify with Swinerton and the District. District representatives will also speak to and answer questions on the Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA). Additionally, there will be resources for small, local, diverse and veteran businesses.

Moving, surveying, final cleaning, demolition, abatement, structural concrete, reinforcing steel, structural & miscellaneous steel, metal decking, rough carpentry, casework, waterproofing, insulation, roofing, sheet metal, metal wall panels, caulking, doors and frames, glass & glazing, lath & plaster, framing & drywall, tile, acoustical ceilings, sealed concrete, vapor emissions, resilient and carpet flooring, painting, visual display surfaces, signage, toilet partitions and accessories, accordion folding partitions, fire protection, lockers, corner guards, flag poles, A-V equipment supports, residential kitchen equipment, food service equipment, play field equipment and surfacing, window coverings, lunch shelters, hydraulic elevators, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low voltage systems, earthwork, shoring, asphalt paving, pavement markings, site concrete, permeable paving, fencing & gates, landscaping & irrigation, and site utilities.
About the Project:
The Whole Site Modernization project repairs, renovates, and revitalizes existing facilities at the Lindbergh/Schweitzer Elementary School campus for a capacity of 600 students. This includes interior improvements at existing buildings, systems repair and replacement, and accessibility and code compliance. The project provides a new 37,500 sq. ft. two-story building with classrooms, instructional support, and administrative spaces. Additionally, the project includes improvements to the student pick-up/drop-off zone, additional parking and a joint-use field with the City of San Diego. Construction is anticipated to take place over a 42 month period and is broken up into four main phases.
