June 21, 2023: It was a packed house at the Veterans In Business Network Construction, Conversations & Cocktails event at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in downtown Los Angeles. Veteran-owned businesses heard about opportunities in the construction industry with our Emcee/VIB Advocate John Palmer from Erik Belmarez at Turner Construction Company, Breana Weaver at PCL Construction, Teresa Maxwell at Skanska and Christie Carr at County of Los Angeles. We also had an Opportunity Lightning Round with Southern California Edison, Swinerton, The Walt Disney Company, Frontier Communications, San Gabriel Valley Water Company, BCCI Construction, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Burns and McDonnell Engineering, Merriwether & Williams Insurance Services and more.
