SDG&E EXCEEDS DVBE GOAL IN 2020

SDG&E – 2020 in review

As one of the utilities that are subject to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), SDG&E has a goal of 21.5 percent in diverse spending. The goal for Service-Disabled Veterans is 1.5 percent and in 2020, SDG&E is proud to have achieved $120.5 million, or 5.7 percent with Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs). This marks the 12th consecutive year SDG&E has exceeded the CPUC goal.

In 2020, SDG&E Supplier Diversity spent $872 million with our diverse suppliers or 41.6 percent.

SDG&E Supplier Diversity will continue to partner with our military and veteran community-based organizations to identify DVBE suppliers for opportunities to incorporate DVBEs into our core business and capital projects.

  • 10-years of growth with SDG&E has enabled Patriot General to give back to the local community through donations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Lung Association and the San Diego Center for Children.
