NATIONWIDE VETERAN BUSINESS LEGISLATION: HR 6527 DRIVING VETERANS SUCCESS ACT – SUPPORT NOW!

On February 1, 2022 in Washington, D.C. – Reps. Michelle Steel (R-CA) and Katie Porter (D-CA) announced the introduction of the Driving Veterans Success Act, legislation that would establish a Veterans Business Enterprise Program. This program would require the Department of Transportation (DOT) to set a goal of ensuring that at least 10% of federal highway and transit contracts go to veteran-owned small businesses.

Currently there’s no parity for veteran and disabled veteran businesses with the DBE program. Let’s try to change that!
