2023 VIB Network Annual National Veteran Business Survey
For the past 7 years, the VIB Network has conducted a yearly Veteran Business survey and has received input nationwide. This information helps us create a roadmap on how we will move forward and what kind of support the Veteran business community is seeking.
2023 VIB Network Survey Results:
The results of this survey provide some key insights into the current state of the veteran business community.
2023 VIB Network Survey Highlights:
- 43.06% Have their VetCert with the SBA
- 68.75% Hold multiple diverse certifications
- 21.43% With revenue between $1 – 5 million
- 16.67% Say their certification helped them win a contract as a prime contractor
We also received comments about meeting more often in addition to the conference. More introductions throughout the year with primes, government agencies and corporations.

NEW 2023 VIB Network Procurement Survey
Last year, the VIB Network conducted our very first survey with Procurement, Supplier Diversity Professionals and Buyers to get a pulse on what they look for when seeking to utilize the Veteran business community for upcoming opportunities.

The results of this survey provide some key insights into what Corporations and Government agencies are prioritizing when looking to work with the Veteran business community.
2023 VIB Network Procurement Survey Highlights:
- All require some type of Veteran business certification
- 53.66% have Veteran Business goals/targets
- Key Performance Indicators – 80.95% say On-time project delivery, followed by 61.90% Supplier Safety.
- Construction was the highest needed contracting opportunities at 62%
