All the classes are held at the Airport Authority offices (former Commuter Terminal)-2nd Floor.

 

The 2019 Fall Session Turner School of Construction Management Training Program for MBE/WBE/DBE/VETERAN/ and Small construction firms will be presented September 17th, 2019 through November 7th, 2019.

Turner Construction is extremely pleased that the San Diego Regional Airport Authority has agreed to partner in this program as well as other firms in the construction industry.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis with priority consideration given to members of the co-sponsoring organization. There is no cost to participate however, because we normally turn away interested firms, it is important that we have a firm commitment from those who are accepted.  There is a cost for withdrawal after the third class.

Since 1969, Turner has offered Construction Management Training Programs, benefiting hundreds of MBE/WBE/DBE/VETERAN/ and SMALL construction firms across the U.S.  The community affairs initiative was first spearheaded by then chairman Howard Turner who believed that the enhancement of minority and women business development was key in the construction industry.  Turner continues to strongly support the increased representation of MBE/WBE/DBE/VETERAN/ and SMALL construction firms in the industry and has an annual goal of 20 percent utilization of these enterprises in the areas of construction, subcontracting, prime contracting, join venture relationships and goods and services.

The Turner School of Construction Management will begin with a Kick-Off Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019.

Directions to Kick-Off Reception:  From Harbor Drive, turn right onto Winship Lane along Harbor Drive.  Park in the Commuter Terminal Parking Lot.  (Parking will be validated at the Kick-Off Reception)  Enter the Commuter Terminal, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.  Turn left off the elevator and continue toward the reception desk.  The Kick-off Reception will be located in the Board Room.

 

The classes are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, September 19th, 2019 through Tuesday, November 5th, 2019.  Classes will be held at the San Diego Regional Airport Authority Offices (former Commuter Terminal)-3225 N Harbor Drive-2nd Floor.  The program will conclude with a Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, November 7th, 2019.
