|Opportunity Title||Customer Energy Solutions (CES) Service Suppliers|
PG&E is seeking high-quality evaluation and research support for Customer Energy Solutions (CES), including Energy Efficiency (EE), Demand Response (DR), and Distributed Generation (DG) programs. These programs are offered to commercial, agricultural, industrial and/or residential customers with the goals to produce long-term energy and demand savings, shift customer energy demand, generate capacity to the grid, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The research and program evaluations are to assess program design and operations, so as to reduce operation barriers, improve program performance, and inform policy refinement. A qualified consultant should have strong communication (oral and written) and project management skills to meet all schedules and deadlines while continuously producing quality product and controlling costs.
A detailed list of program requirements is provided in the attached COA document. PG&E does not expect bidders to have expertise in every single area.
1) Lead role in evaluating energy efficiency, demand response, and/or distributed generation programs and projects;
2) Capability to analyze all aspects of energy efficiency, demand response, and/or distributed generation programs and projects, financial as well as technical;
3) Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to write clear, concise technical reports;
4) Specific knowledge and experience concerning energy end-use technologies in area of indicated expertise.
